Early Childhood Educator Position

Position: Full-Time Early Childhood Educator Position
Location: Stratford South

Join Little Ducklings Pond as a full-time Early Childhood Educator. This role focuses on the daily care and education of children, along with strong communication with parents and staff.

Little Ducklings Pond is searching for an Early Childhood Educator to work eight-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM. Candidates with a diploma from PEI or another Canadian province are preferred. Key responsibilities include daily planning, documentation, upkeep of the classroom, and maintaining communication with parents and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Care for and engage children daily

• Plan educational activities and document progress

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the classroom

• Communicate regularly with parents and educators

• Uphold all required health and safety certifications

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Educator Diploma from PEI or equivalent

• Ability to obtain a vulnerable sector criminal record check

• First aid/CPR certification required

• WHMIS and food safety certification needed

• Willingness to work full-time hours
