Teach the foundational course EFDT 101 at the University of Saskatchewan in Pinehouse, SK. This live in-person position offers a unique opportunity to engage with community-based education.

The Department of Educational Foundations is looking for a Sessional Lecturer to teach during the Fall 2026 session. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Education or a related field and have experience that demonstrates a commitment to Indigenous educational practices. Classes are scheduled Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the actual timetable determined collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver EFDT 101:
Introduction to Education lectures

• Engage students in community-based learning

• Prepare course materials and assessments

• Foster an inclusive learning environment

• Collaborate on class scheduling with the administration

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Education or related discipline

• Relevant teaching or professional experience

• Commitment to Indigenous ways of knowing

• Knowledge of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit cultures

• Valid driver’s license for off-campus teaching
