Continuing Education Educator in Smiths Falls

Location: Rideau Lakes area (Kemptville)

Empower students in the Catholic District School Board as a Continuing Education Educator in Smiths Falls. This role focuses on delivering Cooperative Education courses for intermediate and senior students during evenings and weekends.

This position requires an Ontario College of Teacher's Certificate and offers qualified teachers the opportunity to engage with students. You will facilitate complex learning experiences by adapting to various educational needs and using diverse teaching methods to best support learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Cooperative Education courses for senior and intermediate levels

• Schedule classes based on student availability during evenings and weekends

• Engage with students to support their unique learning needs

• Use a variety of teaching methods to meet all learners' needs

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum delivery

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario College of Teacher's Certificate required

• Subject qualifications per Ministry guidelines

• Completion of Religious Education Part I preferred

• Familiarity with Hour Republic Software is a plus

• Strong commitment to recognizing diverse educational needs
