Position: Early Learning Instructor at Keyano College
Location: Northeastern Alberta (Fort Chipewyan)

Keyano College invites passionate educators to teach Early Learning and Child Care in Fort McMurray, Alberta for Fall 2026. Engage with students while delivering quality instruction and mentorship in an on-campus setting.

The School of Health and Human Services seeks contract instructors for its Early Learning and Child Care program starting August 26 through December 16, 2026. This role includes teaching courses, providing field supervision, and engaging with community stakeholders. Candidates are expected to maintain professional competence and contribute to a diverse and equitable learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct Early Learning and Child Care curriculum courses

• Maintain office hours for student mentorship

• Provide field supervision and practicum support

• Engage actively with community partners

• Stay updated on subject matter and teaching practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education

• Alberta Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification

• Demonstrated teaching excellence and communication skills

• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion

• Experience in field education and post-secondary teaching
