Safety Trainer

Position: Safety Trainer at Sunbelt Rentals
Location: Hants County (Shubenacadie)

Advance safety education with Sunbelt Rentals as a Safety Trainer. Deliver equipment operator certification and general safety training using diverse teaching modalities, including virtual and instructor-led formats.

As a Safety Trainer, you will conduct training for both customers and employees, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities include managing public training schedules, providing private classes, and documenting training records. This role also involves supporting sales efforts for safety training opportunities while optimizing class productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct equipment operator certification and safety training sessions

• Create public training schedules on a 3-month rolling calendar

• Provide private training classes at client locations

• Maintain comprehensive training records in S 's systems

• Mentor Certified Evaluators with hands-on training sessions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of safety training experience

• Expertise in heavy equipment and industry regulations

• Customer-service oriented and self-motivated

• Ability to travel for training sessions
