Elevate early childhood education as an Early Childhood Educator with the Strait Regional Centre for Education, focused on innovative child-centered practices. Empower families and enhance student learning in Antigonish.

As part of the Pre-Primary Program at the Felix Marchand Education Centre, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Early Childhood Educator to implement the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum Framework (NSELCF). Create an engaging atmosphere while supporting diverse children’s growth and building strong relationships with families involved in the program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a dynamic learning environment that welcomes all

• Document and reflect on children's behaviors and interests

• Deliver curriculum addressing developmental needs

• Connect families with program insights and experiences

• Support integration into the wider school community

Requirements:

• Education in Early Childhood Education or related field

• Familiarity with child growth and play-based learning

• Skills in documentation and engaging diverse families

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Current first aid certification
