Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver an authentic Montessori CASA program for children aged 3–6 years .
Create a stimulating, child-centered classroom that promotes independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Foster each child's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through the Montessori philosophy.
Observe, assess, and document children's progress, maintaining accurate developmental records.
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the school community.
Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's development and classroom activities.
Ensure compliance with Ministry licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and school policies.
Support licensing visits and collaborate professionally with Ministry officials when required.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
Implement emergency procedures and maintain all required classroom documentation.
Qualifications
CASA Montessori Diploma from an AMI or MACTE-accredited training program.
Strong understanding of and commitment to the Montessori philosophy and methodology.
Previous experience working with the CASA (3–6 years) age group.
Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
Flexible to work between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. as scheduled.
Required Certifications
Montessori CASA Certification/Experience
Standard First Aid & CPR-C
Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
Skills & Attributes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency with basic computer applications and digital documentation.
Positive, patient, and nurturing attitude.
Professional, dependable, and self-motivated.
Ability to take initiative and adapt in a dynamic childcare environment.
