Position: Temporary Educational Assistant Rycroft School Role
Location: Northwestern Alberta (High Level)

Support student development as a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant at Rycroft School with Peace Wapiti Public School Division. Engage in a collaborative environment aimed at enhancing educational experiences.

PWPSD, committed to serving 6,100 students across its 34 schools, seeks passionate individuals for this full-time role at Rycroft School. You will work directly under a certificated teacher, averaging 29.25 hours per week, helping students achieve their potential in a supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support to students in the classroom

• Assist with personal care and required physical tasks

• Engage with students to encourage participation

• Work collaboratively with teachers and staff

• Attend additional meetings outside of school hours

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or similar credential

• Educational Assistant Diploma preferred

• Experience working with children is an advantage

• CPR/First Aid certification is beneficial

• Must complete a Criminal Record Check
