Empower young learners as an Early Childhood Educator at YMCA Tumbler Ridge Care and Learning Centre. This part-time role allows you to craft engaging and developmentally appropriate programs.

The YMCA is looking for a passionate Early Childhood Educator for a permanent part-time role. You'll execute the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum while ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for children. Build invaluable relationships with families and your supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging programming based on children's interests

• Establish meaningful connections with families and children

• Promote a safe, clean, and positive environment

• Collaborate to facilitate smooth transitions during play

• Use Weemarkable for daily updates to parents

Requirements:

• ECE certification from a recognized BC program

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Special Needs Educator certification preferred

• Proof of Emergency First Aid and CPR-C certification

• Satisfactory Criminal Record check required
