Keyin College ABE Instructor Position

Location: Southeastern Avalon Peninsula (Ferryland)

Empower adult learners as a full-time ABE Instructor at Keyin College in Bay Roberts. We seek passionate educators ready to enhance academic experiences and support diverse learning needs.

In this full-time role, you will instruct adult learners, helping them achieve high school equivalency and prepare for post-secondary education. By implementing the ABE curriculum, you will provide personalized support to overcome challenges, assess student performance, and maintain an organized classroom environment. Your commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging space is key to our mission at Keyin College.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction across core subjects, especially English

• Prepare lesson plans aligned with ABE curriculum requirements

• Provide individualized support to facilitate student progress

• Assess and provide timely feedback on student performance

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (Secondary or Post-Secondary)

• English minor or completion of six MUN English courses

• Teaching certification or relevant experience

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Experience with digital instructional tools and online platforms
