Early Childhood Educator - Split Shift

Location: Lake Simcoe Southeast Shore (Sutton West)

Become an integral part of Upper Canada Child Care as a Split Shift Assistant Educator in Keswick, Georgina, ON. Support children’s learning through engaging play-based experiences and outdoor exploration.

This full-time role involves working with children in before and after school programs. You will deliver a developmentally appropriate curriculum and assist with daily activities, fostering strong relationships with families. Additionally, you will participate in continuous professional development and adhere to program standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Ministry of Education guidelines in programming

• Encourage positive learning interactions with children

• Maintain communication with parents about their children's progress

• Document program activities and report on daily logs

• Collaborate with staff for children's collective needs

Requirements:

• Certification in CPR-C and Standard First Aid

• Knowledge of childhood development principles

• Experience in play-based educational environments

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Capability to fulfill the physical demands of the position
