Position: Collaborative Educational Assistant Role

Contribute to student's learning as a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant at Silver Valley Colony School, focusing on teamwork in a student-centered environment. This role is essential for fostering an effective educational atmosphere.

Peace Wapiti Public School Division offers this full-time position dedicated to enhancing the school experience for its approximately 6,100 students across the region. Ideal candidates will hold a High School Diploma and preferably have an Educational Assistant Diploma. Physical ability for assistance and collaboration with the teaching team is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in facilitating educational activities with students

• Provide necessary personal care to students

• Collaborate with teachers and fellow staff members

• Help prepare and organize classroom resources

• Engage in meetings and discussions when needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Educational Assistant Diploma is preferred

• CPR/First Aid certification beneficial

• Experience in child education or care preferred

• Availability for collaboration outside school hours
