Northland School Division is hiring Substitute Teachers for the  academic year. In this role, you will follow the teaching program and prepare lessons that accommodate diverse student needs. Building rapport with parents and students is crucial while encouraging Cree language revitalization through your teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the prescribed curriculum while teaching

• Plan comprehensive daily lesson strategies

• Offer regular feedback to both students and parents

• Support Cree culture in the educational curriculum

• Actively engage with the community and parents

Requirements:

• Must have Alberta teaching certification or qualification

• Bachelor of Education degree is required

• Experience working with rural and Indigenous communities is preferred
