Position: BERRY CREEK Junior Humanities Teaching Role
Location: Southeastern Alberta (Drumheller)

Join BERRY CREEK COMMUNITY SCHOOL as a Junior Humanities Teacher and influence the next generation! This full-time position focuses on teaching Junior High Social Studies and complementary subjects in an engaging manner.

Starting in the 2026–2027 school year, you'll create stimulating lessons and a positive learning environment for students.

Your role will encompass integrating technology, fostering student relationships, and employing various teaching strategies to support all learners. Your approach will ensure that students thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Alberta's Junior High Humanities curriculum

• Design interactive and relevant lesson plans

• Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere

• Leverage technology in daily lessons

• Promote positive student-teacher relationships

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Required Criminal Record and Child Intervention Checks

• Proven ability to engage diverse learners

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Understanding of creative instructional methods
