Teachers and Assistants On Call in Metchosin

Location: Metchosin

Westmont is looking for passionate Teachers and Educational Assistants for on-call roles in Metchosin, BC, during the  school year. While Montessori experience is ideal, strong candidates without it are still invited to apply.

The part-time on-call positions cater to dedicated individuals ready to support diverse learning environments. Candidates need to have at least a Grade 12 education and a current First Aid Certificate. Experience working with students of varied needs and engaging in outdoor education is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a substitute for educators in various settings

• Assist in fostering an inclusive classroom experience

• Engage with students in outdoor education activities

• Support diversity in learning and engagement strategies

• Ensure a safe, respectful learning environment

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent certification

• Current First Aid certification mandatory

• Background in Montessori education preferred

• Experience working with diverse educational needs

• Relevant qualifications in child development or teaching
