Position: Middle Years Substitute Teaching Role
Location: Riding Mountain (Neepawa)

The Western Canada Hockey Academy seeks a dedicated substitute teacher for grades 4-8. Cultivate student relationships in a unique academic and athletic environment that emphasizes character development.

WCHA is inviting collaborative and flexible educators into its substitute teaching ranks for our Grades 4-8 program. You will support instruction in Math, English Language Arts, and Social Studies, ensuring a conducive classroom atmosphere. Our ideal candidate thrives in dynamic settings while demonstrating strong leadership and effective communication with students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quickly forge positive relationships with students

• Maintain calm and consistent classroom leadership

• Support the Math, ELA, and Social Studies curriculum

• Adapt to dynamic schedules involving athletics

• Provide clear communication and leave detailed notes

Requirements:

• Preferred experience with middle years students

• Athletics background is a valued plus

• Demonstrated commitment to character development

• Strong team collaboration skills

• Bring enthusiasm and professionalism to the role
