Eke Me-Xi Learning Centre in Port Hardy is hiring for an Outdoor Education Teacher for grades 8-12 starting September 1, 2026. Showcase your teaching expertise in a supportive learning environment.

This 0.14 FTE continuing role seeks candidates with a Bachelor of Education and recent teaching experience in Outdoor Education. Successful applicants will excel in classroom management and working with diverse student groups. A commitment to integrating local Indigenous culture into the curriculum is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Outdoor Education to secondary students

• Manage diverse learning environments effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education certification
