Culturally Grounded Student Success Facilitator

Location: Central Saanich

Support student achievement with SȾÁUTW̱ First Nation as a Student Success Facilitator. This renewable term role engages with K-12 students to foster academic success and well-being in community settings.

As a Student Success Facilitator, you will implement culturally relevant educational programs, learning supports, and community connections. Collaborate with families, schools, and local Elders to create inclusive environments that enhance student engagement and development. Your work will focus on fostering academic participation and social belonging across diverse community initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement community-based learning supports for K-12 students

• Provide direct tutoring and mentoring assistance

• Create safe, inclusive learning environments

• Document student participation and progress effectively

• Maintain organized and welcoming program spaces

Requirements:

• Grade 12 completion, education in related field preferred

• Experience working with K-12 youth

• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural programming is an asset

• Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transportation

• Successful completion of background checks
