WAGE RANGE: $25.00 – $28.00

The Student Success Facilitator is responsible for implementing culturally grounded in community student success plans, learning supports, and educational programs. Reporting to the Student Success Liaison, this role provides direct support to children and youth in Grades K‑12 across home, school, and community settings. The Student Success Facilitator supports regular attendance, academic engagement, well‑being, belonging, and participation in tutoring, mentoring, cultural learning, land‑based learning, after‑school, spring break, summer, and community‑based activities.

Working closely with the Student Success Liaison, Education staff, families, schools, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, language teachers, and community partners, this role helps ensure students are connected to meaningful, holistic, and culturally relevant supports that promote long‑term educational success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Student Learning Supports and Program Implementation

Implement culturally grounded in community learning supports and educational programming for children and youth in Grades K‑12 as planned and coordinated by the Student Success Liaison.

Provide direct support to students during tutoring, mentoring, after‑school, spring break, summer, land‑based, cultural, and community‑based learning activities.

Create welcoming, safe, and inclusive learning environments that support the social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and cultural development of children and youth.

Support students with academic tasks, homework completion, learning routines, goal setting, study habits, and participation in planned educational activities.

Assist students in building confidence, positive engagement, attendance habits, and a sense of belonging in school and community learning environments.

Support student transitions between activities, programs, grades, schools, and learning settings by assisting with preparation, follow‑up, and relationship‑building.

Assist with student recognition and incentive initiatives that celebrate achievement, growth, participation, attendance, and positive contributions to school and community life.

Document participation, supports provided, observations, and student progress as directed to support reporting, program improvement, and follow‑up planning.

Program Operations and Daily Support

Support day‑to‑day program delivery by preparing spaces, materials, supplies, snacks, equipment, and activities.

Follow program schedules, student support plans, safety procedures, and direction provided by the Student Success Liaison and the Director of Education.

Assist with student sign‑in, attendance tracking, transportation coordination, supervision, and safe arrival and departure procedures.

Help maintain clean, organized, safe, and welcoming program spaces for students, families, staff, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and partners.

Report student needs, concerns, incidents, attendance patterns, supply needs, and program observations to the Student Success Liaison in a timely manner.

Community Engagement and School Connections

Build positive, respectful relationships with students, families, caregivers, schools, and community members through consistent, supportive, and culturally safe interactions.

Assist with community education events, family engagement activities, student recognition opportunities, and program celebrations.

Share approved program information with students and families and direct questions, concerns, or requests for additional support to the Student Success Liaison.

Support student participation by encouraging attendance, welcoming families, and helping students feel connected to programs, peers, staff, culture, and community.

Partnerships & Collaboration

Work respectfully with families, community members, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, language teachers, schools, and partner organizations during program delivery.
