Join Saanich Schools as a Junior Academic Support Assistant, focusing on student care and academic success within the school environment.

As part of Saanich Schools, you will serve as an Education Assistant, assisting junior students with their academic subjects. This role requires attention to personal care needs, including lifting and feeding. Your work schedule runs from 8:55 AM to 3:12 PM, Monday to Friday, aligning with school terms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help junior students with their academic coursework

• Support personal care activities including toileting and feeding

• Monitor and supervise students during lunch

• Work closely with teachers and support staff

• Assist low incidence students with specialized needs

Requirements:

• Background in educational support or child care

• Comfort with lifting and personal care tasks

• Collaborative approach to working with students

• Adherence to regular school hours during the academic year

• Passion for enhancing student learning experiences
