Wild Rose School Division requires a full‑time teacher for Visions West Outreach School in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. The position is a Probationary Full Time High School Math and Science Teacher for the 2026‑27 school year.

Role Overview
We are seeking a high school math and science teacher who is passionate, resilient, and has proven experience working with highly traumatized, at‑risk youth. The ideal candidate will bring a trauma‑informed approach, demonstrate mastery in de‑escalation strategies, and possess a deep desire to connect academic content to student interests. Compassion, collaboration, flexibility, and student‑centred learning are essential qualities.

Program Details
Visions West Outreach School offers flexible programming for students in grades 10‑12. Students work at their own pace, leveraging their unique learning style. They have access to Google classrooms for the majority of their work, with a compulsory attendance component to ensure in‑person engagement. The school is located in Rocky Mountain House and the position will commence on August 24, 2026.
