Cultivate learning opportunities for Innu adults as a Pathway Coordinator in Happy Valley–Goose Bay, NL. Support adult learners with educational advancements and career pathways through engaging programs and partnerships.

As the Adult Learning & Upgrading Pathway Coordinator, you will work with adult learners to enhance their academic standing and pursue post-secondary education and training. The role includes program coordination and community collaboration to create culturally relevant education. Engage with schools and community leaders to ensure flexible learning solutions that cater to Innu learners’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support adult learners in educational re-engagement

• Provide guidance on graduation and training pathways

• Build relationships and address learner barriers

• Coordinate adult learning program logistics

• Research and apply best practices in adult education

Requirements:

• Experience in adult education and upgrading programs

• Ability to work with learners facing educational barriers

• Strong coordination and collaboration skills

• Experience with Indigenous communities is an asset

• Cultural awareness and sensitivity in programming
