Elevate student learning at the Strait Regional Centre for Education as a teacher for English Communication and Visual Arts. This position requires valid Nova Scotia teacher certification and classroom management skills.

The SRCE is looking for educators for the  school year with qualifications in English, Health, Art, and Contemporary Canadian Studies. Teachers should have experience and methodologies in their subject areas, showing a strong capacity for inclusive teaching and technology application. This role supports a diverse student population across 20 schools in northeastern Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in ELA, Health, Art, and Canadian Studies

• Apply inclusive teaching strategies to cater to all learners

• Implement technology to enhance instruction

• Manage classroom dynamics effectively

• Participate in New Teacher training if applicable

Requirements:

• Valid teacher certification for Nova Scotia

• Major or minor in English education

• Classroom management experience

• Knowledge of Visual Arts pedagogy

• Current Criminal Record Check and references
