Community-Focused STEAM Educator Position

Location: Peterborough County and North Hastings County (Lakefield)

Join Ampere as a Community-Focused STEAM Educator in Lindsay, Ontario. Lead the way in delivering engaging STEAM education tailored to diverse community needs.

As a STEAM School Lead Educator, you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of high-quality programming. By collaborating with local educators and partners, you'll identify learning needs and develop engaging resources.

Your role will also include supervising fellow educators to ensure exceptional program delivery across rural and Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop community-specific STEAM program resources

• Lead engaging educational experiences for all ages

• Maintain knowledge of STEAM education trends

• Foster relationships with local educational institutions

• Support program evaluation and improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent experience

• Teaching experience in instructional settings

• Strong understanding of STEAM educational principles

• Experience with diverse and Indigenous communities

• OCT certification is considered an asset
