International Baccalaureate MYP Math Teacher

Shape young minds as an MYP Math Teacher at Brookes Westshore School Society. Engage with Grades 6-8 students and incorporate the International Baccalaureate framework in your teaching.

Brookes Westshore School Society is seeking a dedicated educator for MYP Math to start in September 2026. The successful candidate will develop  IB units, fully embrace our community culture, and support the academic and personal growth of diverse learners. Strong communication skills are essential for updating students, parents, and colleagues on progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver IB units with the BC Curriculum

• Monitor student academics and personal development

• Communicate regularly with students and parents

• Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress

• Manage classroom behavior through established rules

Requirements:

• BC teaching certificate or in progress for September 2026

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education

• 2+ years of experience with ELL students

• Familiarity with IB curriculum and teaching

• First Aid Level 1 certification or higher
