Contract Type:  Full-time Temporary (1.0 FTE)
Salary Range:  The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $70,392 to $119,187, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.

Job Summary  Grade 7 Generalist Teacher
1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting September 8, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to June 25, 2027, or return of the incumbent. If the incumbent were to return prior to June 25, 2027, then the successful applicant would have daily TTOC work until June 25, 2027.
Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Middle School level.
This position is scheduled to include Social Studies 7, Career Education 7, Science 7, Drama 7, Design 7 and English
7. Please note that all work will be on site.
