Necessary

Qualifications:

possession of a valid B.C. Teaching Certificate;
university training, or its equivalent, relevant to the posted position; and,
successful teaching experience relevant to the posted position.
Posting Details:  Physical Health Education, Grades 8 & 9, Active Living, Grades 10 to 12, Electives, Grades 8 & 9, CLE/CLC  1.0 F.T.E. Term, September 8, 2026, to January 29, 2027  Or return of the incumbent, whichever occurs first  PEMBERTON SECONDARY SCHOOL  The successful candidate must:
possess relevant university training, or its equivalent, including Middle and Intermediate;
possess relevant, successful experience teaching Physical Health Education, Active Living, and Electives at the Middle and Intermediate level;
be familiar with the BC Early Learning Framework, BC Student Performance Standards and new BC Curriculum and Competencies; and,
have experience working in multi-age/grade groupings.

PLEASE NOTE:

WHEN APPLYING FOR THIS POSITION, TRANSCRIPTS FOR ALL RELATED COURSEWORK WILL BE REQUIRED.
Salary range:  $63,670 per year to $116,190 per year, based on category as assigned by the Teachers Qualification Service (TQS) and previous teaching experience.
