YMCA Early Childhood Educator Position

Location: Fall River

Shape the future of young children as an Early Childhood Educator at the Fall River YMCA. This full-time role is essential for creating a safe, nurturing space that promotes learning and development.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will work under the guidance of the Centre Director. You’ll implement play-based programming that aligns with the Early Learning Curriculum Framework while fostering respectful relationships with children and their families. Your commitment to inclusivity and teamwork will enhance the overall experience at our centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design engaging and safe learning environments

• Support children's development through intentional play

• Plan and execute curriculum-based activities

• Foster communication with parents and families

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education diploma required

• Valid Nova Scotia ECE classification

• Certification in First Aid and CPR

• Completed Vulnerable Sector and Child Abuse checks

• Strong organizational skills and teamwork ability
