This posting is for a Permanent Full-Time 1.0 FTE Educational Assistant Position at Hartley Clark Elementary School commencing September 2, 2026.
Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom. Basic knowledge of Grade 5-9 math concepts and the ability to independently facilitate teacher-planned lessons/activities is an asset.
Qualifications Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
The Right Person will genuinely appreciate working with children and demonstrate patience, show empathy, and help make learning fun;
possess strong planning and organizational skills while showing initiative ;
have excellent communication skills and a willingness to work independently
