This full-time temporary position is to replace a teacher on maternity leave, requiring expertise in Junior High Humanities. You will deliver an engaging curriculum while employing various instructional methods and fostering an inclusive classroom. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to connect with students are crucial to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement interactive lessons for Junior High students

• Deliver engaging Social Studies and options curriculum

• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Employ technology to enhance learning engagement

• Foster strong relationships to support student success

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate is a must

• Background in Junior High Humanities education needed

• Dedicated to fostering student learning and growth

• Experience with diverse instructional strategies

• Required Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check
