Grade 3 Foundations Teacher

Fort Vermilion School Division Grade 3 Foundations Teacher Hill Crest Community School The Position:

• Hill Crest Community School is a Grade K to 9 school in between Fort Vermilion and La Crete with a projected enrolment of 324 students
• Foundations classrooms focus primarily on building students’ literacy, numeracy and social-emotional skills. These classes provide targeted instruction for students with identified gaps in learning and are designed to accelerate growth through consistent, explicit teaching and frequent practice.

• Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have a
  valid work permit
• Must have a
  Bachelor's Degree in Education or applicable
  equivalent
• Must be eligible to obtain or have a valid
  Alberta Teaching Certificate
• Willing to
  relocate to northern Alberta

• Attractive Salary - $71,461 to $115,716 depending on experience and education
• $5,000 Transitional Allowance, prorated based on start date
• $6,300 Northern Allowance, prorated by FTE for part-time teachers
• 9 Month School Calendar
