Join Wapella School as a Part-Time Educational Associate, dedicated to supporting students with diverse educational needs. This temporary role starts September 2, 2026.

The position requires working approximately 3.2 hours per day for the academic year ending June 11, 2027. You will assist students with various challenges, aiding in both their academic and life skills programs directed by teachers. The candidate should possess the ability to adapt to change and maintain a focus on behavior and safety plans customized for individual students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in life skills and academic programming

• Attend to personal hygiene and medical needs

• Monitor and support behavior plans for students

• Transport students in a personal vehicle as necessary

• Supervise both individuals with intensive needs and groups

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma from a recognized institution

• Valid driver's license for transporting students

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively

• Knowledge of school software and educational tools

• Preferred educational background in special needs support
