Join the Sunshine Coast School District as an On-Call Education Assistant. Collaborate with educators to enrich the educational experience for students in a welcoming environment.
Ideal candidates possess a Grade 12 education, along with an Education Assistant certificate or progress toward it, and experience with school-aged children. This position is crucial for guiding students in various learning settings, and additional qualifications such as CPI training and First Aid certification are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with education teams to enhance student engagement
• Provide guidance for both individuals and groups
• Employ techniques for Applied Behavioural Analysis
• Maintain up-to-date First Aid certifications
• Engage with the local Sunshine Coast community
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education
• Education Assistant certification or progress toward it
• Relevant experience with children and youth
• CPI training and First Aid certification
• Current residency on the Sunshine Coast or plans to move
Promote student learning in a safe, diverse educational setting.
