Temporary 0.4 Fte Teacher (School District 84)
Effective March 30, 2026 to June 30, 2026, or until the incumbent returns.

Qualifications- Valid BC certification with TRB with qualifications and experience at the primary level, preferably in a multi-grade classroom.

- Communication and interpersonal skills: ability to respond appropriately to the needs, feelings, and capabilities of others in a tactful, compassionate, and respectful manner.
- Organization and planning: ability to plan and organize effective instruction, differentiation, and assessment.
- Classroom management: ability to create and maintain an optimal learning environment while managing student behaviour and classroom dynamics.
- Facilitation and engagement: ability to capture and maintain students' interest, effort, participation, and enthusiasm for both content and process of learning.
- Assessment and coaching: ability to utilize balanced assessment and feedback to improve student learning, including the use of formative and summative assessment strategies.
- Collaboration and teamwork: ability to collaborate with others to achieve group goals and objectives.
- Caring and inclusiveness: ability to create and maintain a caring, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
- Flexibility and adaptability: ability to demonstrate flexibility, adjust, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Kindergarten and Primary Program instruction; may include other subjects and outdoor settings as required.
- Willingness and flexibility to teach other subjects and in an outdoor setting as required.
- Physical capability to perform the duties of the position.
