Fort McMurray Catholic Schools seeks an Educational Assistant to support diverse learner needs within Junior and Senior High. You will require an Educational Assistant Certificate with NVCI training and a collaborative approach to working with teachers and specialists. Effective behavior management and adaptive strategies will be critical to fostering a supportive academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement teacher-led initiatives for student support

• Work closely with multi-disciplinary team members

• Utilize technology to aid student learning

• Observe and document student behavior patterns

• Ensure safety during all physical activities

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant Certification required

• Must have NVCI Level A&B training

• Ability to swim 50 meters for program participation

• Experience with special education needs

• Capable of managing physical handling tasks
