Empower students as a Learning Assistant at Rocky View Schools. This part-time role in Langdon requires a compassionate individual to support diverse learning needs at Horseshoe Crossing High School.

Rocky View Schools is hiring for a part-time Learning Assistant (19 hrs/wk) to support students during their educational journey. You will collaborate directly with teachers to develop and implement individualized programs that enhance each student’s learning and independence. This role is essential in assisting students with various complex needs, ensuring they receive the appropriate care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver support based on individualized education plans

• Reinforce learning strategies as directed by teachers

• Track student progress and behavioral challenges

• Engage in collaborative planning for student development

• Support students in daily personal care routines

Requirements:

• Certificate in Educational Assistance or similar field

• At least one year of experience with challenging behavior students

• Training in CPR/First Aid is preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• Capability to handle physical tasks effectively
