Experienced Special Education Teacher

Join the Special Education team at ISD 622 in North St. Paul as an Experienced Special Education Teacher. Engage with school-age students and positively impact their educational journeys.

This role commences in Fall 2026 and requires proficient knowledge in developing and managing IEPs while providing direct instruction. Candidates must hold a valid Minnesota special education teaching license, possess conflict resolution experience, and have a strong capacity for collaboration with fellow educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive IEPs and facilitate meetings

• Ensure compliance with state and federal educational regulations

• Deliver effective instruction aligned with IEP goals

• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student information

• Advocate for the unique needs of students with disabilities

Requirements:

• Valid MN teaching license in special education

• Bachelor’s Degree required

• Experience working with behavior management and crisis intervention

• Familiarity with due process procedures

• Ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
