Engage with diverse learners as a Pathways Teacher at Elk Island Catholic Schools in Sherwood Park, Alberta. This temporary 0.5 FTE position consists of a morning teaching schedule until June 29, 2027.

St. Theresa Catholic School is searching for a Pathways Classroom Teacher dedicated to nurturing students with diverse learning needs. The successful candidate will foster an inclusive environment and engage in team teaching. This position allows for additional hours through afternoon substitute teaching, providing flexibility for the right educator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in the dedicated Pathways classroom

• Adapt teaching methods for varied learning abilities

• Collaborate within a team teaching framework

• Cultivate an inclusive classroom culture

• Fill in as a substitute teacher during afternoons

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education degree required

• Alberta teaching certificate or eligibility necessary

• Experience in diverse educational settings is beneficial

• Must be a practicing Catholic

• Agree to confidential reference checks
