Grade 7 Teacher – St. Anthony School Drayton Valley

Location: Central Alberta (Stettler)

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools is hiring a temporary full-time Grade 7 teacher for ELA, Social Studies, Health, and Religious Studies hony School, beginning August 31, 2026. This position will conclude on June 30, 2027.

The ideal candidate will be effective in supporting co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and hold a certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph's College as an added advantage. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging curriculum in ELA, Social Studies, Health, and Religious Studies

• Facilitate students’ involvement in co-curricular programs

• Assure a positive and inclusive classroom culture

• Collaborate with fellow educators for student success

• Participate in school events and activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related studies

• Certification in Catholic Education is advantageous

• Teaching experience relevant to the role (asset)

• Up-to-date Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector check

• Recent Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Record Check
