The Upper Grand District School Board is looking for a dedicated educator for a Long Term Occasional position starting September 18, 2026, and lasting until October 16, 2026. As a Science Teacher, you will contribute to high-quality education during the absence of the regular teacher. Your focus will be on Intermediate Science, enhancing the learning experience for students in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective science instruction during the assignment

• Support student achievement and well-being

• Collaborate with school staff for student needs

• Maintain classroom management and engagement

• Fulfill reporting duties to the Principal

Requirements:

• Intermediate Science qualification required

• Strong commitment to student inclusivity

• Relevant experience in secondary education

• Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to employment

• Knowledge of Ontario education standards
