Support the Pre-Primary Program at Aspotogan Cons. Elementary School as a Support Early Childhood Educator. This role prioritizes inclusivity, family engagement, and developmental practices.

The South Shore Regional Centre for Education seeks an enthusiastic Support Early Childhood Educator to aid the Lead Early Childhood Educator in fostering an enriching environment for children. Utilize child-centered methodologies to nurture individual growth and learning, while adhering to evidence-based practices and the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum Framework. Your collaboration with the school team ensures a seamless educational journey for preschool-aged children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere

• Work closely with the Lead ECE on programming

• Implement culturally responsive activities for child engagement

• Track and assess children's growth through documentation

• Engage families in their children's learning journey

Requirements:

• ECE Level 2 or 3 preferred

• 3 years' experience with preschool-age children

• Current First Aid certification

• Clear criminal record and child abuse checks

• Proficiency in creating inclusive environments
