Position: OCDSB Kars on the Rideau Phys Ed Educator
Location: National Capital Region (Almonte)

Lead Physical Education for grades 2 and 3 at Kars on the Rideau in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. Inspire a love for movement while promoting student safety and inclusivity.

As a Physical Educator, your mission is to help students develop physical skills and promote healthy lifestyles. You will engage learners in diverse activities while supporting their overall wellness and encouraging critical thinking. This role plays a crucial part in the OCDSB’s objective to create a nurturing educational climate that values respect and cooperation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach physical education focusing on grades 2 and 3

• Develop adaptable lesson plans for diverse learners

• Promote physical fitness and mindful activities

• Foster a sense of community and teamwork

• Collaborate with colleagues for effective curriculum delivery

Requirements:

• OCT Divisional Qualifications for Primary Education

• OCT
