Program Facilitator Behaviour

Position: Program Facilitator for Positive Behaviour Change
Location: Riding Mountain (Neepawa)

Become a Program Facilitator with the John Howard Society of Brandon and empower individuals towards positive behavioural change. Engage adults, youth, and fathers through dynamic, curriculum-based programming.

This role focuses on delivering significant programs designed to foster healthy relationships and essential life skills. You will work collaboratively within a supportive team, creating a non-judgmental learning space that encourages open discussions. Adaptability is key as you respond to diverse participant needs through creative facilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Anger Management and similar programs

• Lead activities and discussions effectively

• Foster participant accountability and goal-setting

• Document participant progress and incidents

• Manage group dynamics with respect and professionalism

Requirements:

• Strong communication and active listening abilities

• Experience in managing challenging group behaviours

• Familiarity with culturally responsive practices

• Commitment to participant dignity and confidentiality

• Reliable transportation for travel to program sites
