Position: Engaging Youth Program Facilitator Role

Take on a role that shapes the future by facilitating youth programs at Saulteau First Nations. This position emphasizes cultural interaction and healthy living through fun activities.

The Youth Program Facilitator will design and deliver programs tailored to the needs of Saulteau First Nations youth. You will oversee program logistics, manage food budgeting, and create a nurturing space for young people to learn and socialize. Additionally, your collaboration with other departments will ensure a cohesive approach to community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement culturally rich programs designed for youth

• Oversee food budgeting and supply management

• Conduct workshops on healthy eating and food choices

• Keep accurate statistics on meal counts and dietary accommodations

• Build partnerships with community youth services

Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma, preference for child development studies

• Experience in program development is a plus

• Valid BC Driver’s License required

• Police Information Check - Vulnerable Sector

• Food Safe Level 1 Certification
