Become an Emergency Supply Teacher with the Avon Maitland District School Board in Huron and Perth Counties.

This role offers flexible schedules for teaching students in grades 9-12 as needed.

As an Emergency Supply Teacher at AMDSB, you will provide essential support during teacher absences throughout the school year, from September to June. Candidates should be in their Education program or teachers receiving TPP pension. Classroom management skills and proficiency in English and digital tools are vital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill in for absent teachers at secondary schools

• Use classroom management strategies effectively

• Collaborate with school staff and administration

• Utilize G-Suite and Microsoft Office tools

• Communicate with students and staff in English

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Concurrent Education Program

• Valid Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

• Available for last-minute assignments on short notice

• Proven ability to work in a team environment

• Experience with classroom technology and tools
