Support diverse learners as a Part-Time Educational Assistant and Library Technician with Chinook School Division in Ponteix. This pivotal role fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Chinook School Division is proud to serve a diverse student body and is seeking a part-time Educational Assistant and Library Technician. Applicants will support inclusion through teamwork and individual student assistance, working closely with educators to implement Individual Improvement Plans. You will also maintain library operations while promoting a welcoming environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote the mission and values of the Chinook School Division

• Work one-on-one with students to aid development

• Assist in the Resource Centre for materials and supervision

• Manage computer-based library circulation systems

• Facilitate a culture of inclusion and diversity

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant certification or related experience

• Background in Library Technician duties preferred

• Strong relationship-building skills

• Flexibility and positive attitude toward change

• Ability to meet physical demands of the role
