Core French Teacher

Position: Core French Teacher at HPEDSB
Location: Quinte Shores, East Northumberland County & Prince Edward County (Picton)

Be a part of the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board as a Core French Teacher for long-term opportunities at Harmony Public School. Bring your passion for teaching and French language proficiency to inspire students.

This full-time Core French/Prep role includes 0.80 FTE at Harmony Public School and 0.20 FTE at Easthill Elementary School. Candidates must hold Ontario College of Teachers qualifications in Primary/Junior/Intermediate divisions and for FSL. A recent criminal background check will ensure a safe environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Core French lessons to students

• Prepare and plan effective curriculum for classes

• Collaborate with staff to enhance student learning

• Maintain a classroom environment conducive to growth

• Track and report student progress and achievements

Requirements:

• Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers

• OCT qualifications in Primary/Junior/Intermediate and FSL

• Commitment to student achievement and well-being

• Proficiency in the French language suggested

• Background check dated within six months
