- 5.5 hours per day, 5 days per week
- Continuing position starting as soon as possible
- Provides assistance to teachers and other professionals in the delivery of regular or alternate programs of study for students with autism.
- Functions as an advocate for students and as a collaborative member of the school-based team
- Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
- Completion of an Education Assistant Certificate Program
- Completion of POPARD program (30 hours)
- BC Driver's License
- Class 5 Full Privileged with an exemplary driving record as demonstrated by a current driver's abstract - WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures
- 6 months of experience working with people with behavioral disorders
