Position: Elementary Teacher Needed in Estevan
Location: Southeastern Saskatchewan (Carlyle)

St. Mary’s School in Estevan is searching for a temporary Elementary Teacher for a part-time role. Bring your passion for education and help shape young minds in this 0.5 FTE position.

This role is geared towards qualified educators to start as soon as possible, continuing until June 30, 2027. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a valid Saskatchewan Professional “A” Teaching Certificate. Prior experience in teaching Elementary or Middle Years students is an asset for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons to elementary students

• Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere

• Develop and implement educational activities

• Collaborate with school staff and families

• Monitor and evaluate student learning outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education Degree from a recognized institution

• Current Saskatchewan Professional “A” Teaching Certificate

• Experience with Elementary or Middle Years Education preferred

• Practicing Catholic in personal faith formation

• Recent Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
