Location: Georgian Bay Southwest Shore (Dundalk)

Become a key contributor at Blue Mountain Wilde School as a supply teacher, focusing on experiential education in an outdoor environment. Teach students in grades Kindergarten through 8 while following prepared lesson plans.

At BMWS, your expertise in outdoor education will ignite students’ passion for learning and self-discovery. This occasional supply role requires adeptness in handling various grade levels, with potential for short-notice assignments. Embrace a hands-on approach to teaching in the beautiful Blue Mountains, Ontario, and support the development of confident and resilient students ready to lead their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement homeroom lesson plans for timely instruction

• Engage students through experiential learning activities

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff as needed

• Maintain attendance and classroom management

• Adapt to various outdoor teaching challenges

Requirements:

• Relevant OCT qualification in good standing

• Experience in an outdoor teaching environment

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

• Creative approach to education and adaptability

• First-aid certification is a plus
